Insider Insights: Reviews of Our “How To” Webinar Series and Sneak Peek into What's Next for Aspiring and Experienced Investors

As we stride into the second quarter of 2024 (we know—we can barely believe it either), let’s take a moment to reflect on the invaluable insights and revelations shared during the first quarter of our “How To” Webinar Series

From tips to getting started as an angel investor to safeguarding your investments in the early-stage landscape, we’ve had hundreds of aspiring and seasoned investors joining the sessions to learn from all the incredible speakers and panelists we’ve had the honour of hosting.

But before we recap the first three webinars of the year, let these four words remind you of what the series is in service of: the great wealth transfer.

For Canadian women, the great wealth transfer has shed light on stats such as:

  • Expecting women to control close to 47% of wealth by 2030, including the $1 trillion they are expected to inherit in the next decade; and

  • The total net income reported by women amounted to $632 billion, up from $509 billion five years earlier—an average annual increase of 4.4%.

It’s for reasons like those that urge changing the narrative around women and wealth. So, enter: the webinar series. Our aim is to chart a course in favour of uplifting women and underrepresented individuals through education.
